I’ve been a fan of Seth MacFarlane since season one of Family Guy. He just knows how to make me laugh. His first foray into the world of writing and directing movies was Ted, the story of a teddy bear brought to life by a child’s wish. Ted and the by grow up and become foul-mouthed, drinking, pot smoking room mates and hilarity ensues. The movie was such a success that another movie has been written. Ted 2 picks up where the last movie left off and sees Ted marrying his girlfriend Tami-Lynn (Jessica Barth) and trying to have kids.
Returning in this movie are Mark Wahlberg (The Fighter, Entourage), Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy, A Million Ways to Die in the West), Patrick Warburton (Family Guy, Rules of Engagement), and Jessica Barth (Ted, Next).
A notable absence from this list is Mila Kunis. But that’s okay. It’s not as if John (Wahlberg) and Lori (Kunis) got married at the end of the last movie…oh wait…So where is Mila Kunis? Was she too pregnant to be in this movie? Is Mark Walberg mad at her because she insulted his rap skills? It’s unclear now, but Seth MacFarlane has said that it’s a creative decision he decided to take when writing the sequel.
Joining the return cast will be Liam Neeson (Taken, Star Wars: Episode I), Morgan Freeman (The Shawshank Redemtion, Se7en), and Amanda Seyfried (Les Miserables, In Time) who takes of the lead female role. Neeson worked with MacFarlane on his last movie A Million Ways to Die in the West. We still don’t know what his role will be in Ted 2, but it’s sure to bring some laughs.
This film, just like the first will be directed by Seth MacFarlane and will be written by him and two Family Guy writers Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild, who also wrote Ted. So we can expect the same sort of humor from this movie.
This trailer is disgustingly hilarious, as it should be and it really gets me excited for this films release.
Hello all! My name is Jon, and this is my movie blog. I've always been a huge movie fan and I go see as many as I possibly can. The entire movie making process fascinates me and I've been fortunate enough to work on some movie sets as a grip, set/prop builder, vfx guy, stunt man, and an actor. Movies inspire and motivate me and I hope everyone who reads this blog will learn to love movies as I do, if they don't already.
